G & W Mineral Resources is a member of part of the Zimco group of companies in South Africa which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ecobat Technologies group in the UK which gives G & W access to global technology and resources.

Eco-Bat Technologies is the largest producer of recycled lead in Europe

The group owns 18 lead facilities in Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Italy, Austria and South Africa.

In addition to recycled lead Eco-Bat Technologies maximises the value derived from its recycling operations by converting what would have been waste products into by–products that are sold or recycled as independent products. Other products produced by our subsidiary companies include a number of non-lead by products, including polypropylene, polyethylene, sulphuric acid, sodium sulphate, gypsum, zinc and non-metallic speciality Industrial minerals.

G & W Quality Control laboratory strictly controls the quality of products to ensure compliance with customer requirements at all times. The QC lab utilises a Particle Size Distribution instrument, an XRF and a Colourflex instrument in order to enhance the information on all products.
